BATE, TODD NAMED TO CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAM

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Sutton Bate and Kelsey Todd were honored for their play on the court and work in the classroom as both were named to the 2022 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Nominees must be starters or important reserves, sophomores or older, with at least 3.50 cumulative grade point averages. See the full 2022 CSC Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team HERE.

Bate was a force at the net for the Tigers this season. The senior opposite hitter from Flushing, Mich. racked up 146 kills and 32 blocks, both third-best marks on the team this year. She is currently finishing up her degree in Child Management at ONU.

Todd, a sophomore from Metamora, Ill., played in over 100 sets for the Purple and Yellow Gold this season. Todd put way 69 kills from the outside hitter position. She is pursuing a degree in Marketing.

The duo will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in late December.
