TIGERS GO FIRST IN THEIR HOME MEET
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The No. 22 Olivet Nazarene University women's cross country team hosted their first meet of the 2022-23 season, Midwest Classic, Friday evening. ONU finished first in the six-team 5k race, tallying 19 total points, a near-perfect score.
Catherine White, a freshman runner from Westville, Ind., crossed the finish line first at 19:07.9. After White was Jacey Schickel, earning runner-up honors at 19:29.0. Elise Champlin finished fifth overall with a time of 19:58.2. Lauren Smith and Heidi Heldt rounded out the scoring for ONU, with eighth and 10th place finishes, respectively.
