ONU CROSS COUNTRY EARNS 10 NAMES ON NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE HONOR ROLL

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's cross country teams were recognized for their performance in the classroom as 10 total athletes (four men, six women) were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the league office announced Thursday.

Brett Hulliberger, Erik Richter, Payton Domagalski, and Peyton Hobson were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes from the men's team. On the women's team, Amelia Murray, Eleanor Fournier, Elise Champlin, Jacey Schickel, Kathryn Swanson, and Lauren Smith earned the honor.

In order to qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Click HERE for the full women's list and HERE for the full men's list.

The ONU cross country teams will be competing in the NAIA National Championship Meet Friday, Nov. 18, in Tallahassee, Fla. The women's 5K will run at 8:30 a.m. and the men's 8K will start at 9:30 a.m.
