The Tigers took the lead in their opening drive of the game.  Aaje Grayson started the drive with a 10-yard run to the ONU 40-yard line. A few plays later, David Hutton found Scotty Graziano for a 27-yard reception, which put the ball on the Judson 36-yard line.  The 11-play 70-yard drive finished in the endzone as Hutton used his feet and rushed in for an 11-yard touchdown. After the Bryce Deguira extra point, the Tigers led, 7-0.  The Tigers struck again on their second drive of the game.  The drive was played mostly on the ground with Gil'Scott Jackson II as he rushed the ball for 35 yards on seven carries. Hutton ended the drive finding Jackson II for a five-yard touchdown reception making the score, 14-0. The Tiger defense limited the Eagles to nine yards of total offense and took a 14-0 lead going into the second quarter.

The Tigers kept the momentum going into the second quarter. In its first drive of the quarter, Mattias Clark rushed the ball on the first two plays until Hutton connected with Brian Jenkins for a 60-yard touchdown reception and extended its lead to 21-0.  The Tigers marked another touchdown on their next drive when Hutton picked up his third touchdown through the air as he found Jalen Dunnigan for a 38-yard touchdown.  After Deguira made his fourth extra point of the game, Olivet Nazarene led 28-0.  After the Tigers turned it over with an interception, the Judson Eagles found themselves, eventually, down to the one-yard line.  The Tigers defense then stymied the Eagles and forced a turnover-on-downs.  The Tigers still led, 28-0. After that goal line stand, Hutton broke the ONU school record for the longest touchdown pass as he hooked up with Brian Jenkins for a 97-yard touchdown pass to make the score 34-0.
