WOMEN'S GOLF WINS FOURTH-STRAIGHT CCAC CHAMPIONSHIP

HOMEWOOD, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's golf team won its fourth-straight Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) title.  The championships were held from Thursday to Friday at the Ravisloe Country Club. 

 

Kiana Krahulik led the Tigers as she was the individual leader in the Championships.  Krahulik was the clubhouse leader after shooting an opening round 76 and finished with a 77.  Her 76 is her season-best score for a single round.  Following close behind was Margaux Catafort- -Silva.  The Tiger senior finished in third place and was three shots back of Krahulik.

 

Liz Miller and Alexandria Jones also finished in the top-10 as Miller finished in sixth, while Jones stood in tied for eighth.  Grace Miller also finished in the top-15 as she placed in 11th with a score of 170.  The Tigers led by 19 strokes after day one and extended their lead as they won by 29 strokes.  The Tigers earned the automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships.

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Tigers will play in the NAIA National Championships on May 24-27th at the Lincoln Park West Golf Course in Oklahoma City, Okla.
