ALEX GROSS GARNERS CCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) selected RV Olivet Nazarene University men's basketball senior Alex Gross as the Player of the Week.  The conference announced its selection on Tuesday morning.  This is the first time this season that Gross won this honor. 

The Hope, Ind. native had a stellar week for the Tigers. Gross turned in a pair of double-doubles with 22 points and 15 rebounds against Lincoln and 26 points and 17 rebounds against Cardinal Stritch. Gross also tallied five blocks, and 12 assists in the two games in the pass week.  The Tiger center has recorded five double-doubles this season out of six games played. Gross also tallied at least 10 defensive rebounds in three straight games dating back to the Cornerstone game on November 6th. 

The RV Tigers (5-1, 2-0 CCAC) travel to Saint Ambrose on Wednesday, November 17.  Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
