ONU SWIM & DIVE EARN 21 ON NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE HONOR ROLL

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's swimming & diving teams were recognized for their performance in the classroom as 21 total student-athletes were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the league office announced Tuesday.

ONU tied for the third-most honorees represented on the men's side with 10 student-athletes on the list. Andrew Coble, Bryce Rodriguez, Caleb Englert, David Gann, Ethan Holwerda, Jack Fries, Mason Beall, Michael Meinert, Ryan Harrison, and Timothy Braun all earned the honor from the NAIA.

The Tigers had the fourth-most represented on the women's list with 11 honorees. Representing the Purple & Yellow Gold were Abbie Christensen, Ainsley Sasportas, Ashley Parry, Aubrey Velzen, Emma Beste, Halle Briner, Katelyn Inman, Kayla Deubel, Lily Bruner, Mia Points, and Sara Norman.

In order to qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or older and maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Click HERE for the full women's list and HERE for the full men's list.
