ANTKOVIAK NAMED CCAC, USTFCCCA WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University's Hannah Antkoviak set a new school record on her way to earning the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor respectively, which was announced on Thursday afternoon.

Antkoviak was also named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance on the track this week.

Antkoviak turned in the fastest time in the NAIA this year with her 1:31.96 mark in the 600-meter dash on a 200-meter track at ONU's own Invite last Friday.  That was made possible by her adjusted time of 1:30.85 for a 300-meter track.

The junior outperformed 17 other individuals in winning the race with her 'A' standard mark.

Antkoviak and the Tigers will be back in the Perry Center Friday to host the Walter Kramer Invitational.
