TOURNEY TITLE LEADS TO CCAC WOMEN’S GOLF WEEKLY HONORS FOR HOWARD

CHICAGO, Ill. – A tournament title has earned Olivet Nazarene University's Lizzie Howard Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week accord, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Howard shot nearly identical rounds between Friday and Saturday at ONU's own Spring Tiger Invite.  The sophomore recorded a round of 83 on Friday before improving to an 82 on Saturday.  The 82.5 average enabled her to claim medalist honors at the invitational.

Howard's performance also helped Olivet Nazarene claim the team title among seven teams competing.
