ANDERSON TABBED WITH DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University's Marissa Anderson (Shorewood, Ill.) earned her first Defensive Player of the Week honor, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Anderson got the job done on both the offensive and defensive ends for the Tigers last week, helping Olivet Nazarene to a pair of shutout wins with her goal and two assists from the backline.  The senior defender registered the goal in a 3-0 win over Holy Cross College last Wednesday.  She followed that up with two assists in a 10-0 victory against Calumet College of St. Joseph on Saturday.

The two wins enabled the Tigers to capture a share of their first CCAC regular-season title since 2019.  They finished the league season at 11-1-1 and are 12-4-1 overall.

WHAT'S NEXT?
