FIVE TIGERS EARN ALL-CONFERENCE RECOGNITION

CHICAGO, IL. –  On Monday, The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the five Olivet Nazarene University women's soccer players that clinched well-deserved postseason awards. Abbey Cash, Marissa Anderson, and Meegan Randall achieved the pinnacle of recognition with their first-team selections, while Alaina Bahr and Emily Greene earned their places on the second team.

Cash, a senior hailing from Gardner, IL, solidified her legacy with a fourth first-team selection. Playing in all 19 matches this season, Cash showcased her versatility by contributing not only defensively but also offensively, securing one goal and assisting on seven others. This year's first-team honor adds to her impressive collection, including a second-team selection in 2019 and three-time NAIA All-America Honorable Mentions in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Anderson, a graduate student hailing from Shorewood, IL, celebrated her first career first-team selection. Anderson's impactful season included 19 matches and an impressive five goals, showcasing her versatility and skill on the field. Randall, the freshman goalkeeper from Republic, MO, also earned her inaugural first-team selection, appearing in all 19 matches, conceding only 10 goals, and making an impressive 40 saves. 

Bahr, a junior from Bourbonnais, IL, secured her second career second-team selection, rounding out another commendable season with 19 appearances, one goal, and two assists. Meanwhile, Greene, a junior from St. Anne, IL, marked her first career second-team selection, contributing to the team's success with 18 appearances and one crucial assist. 

These five Tigers led ONU on an 11-4-4 run this season and will continue to lead the charge in the postseason. 

Looking Ahead

The Tigers will head to Arkansas to face Friends University in the opening round of the national tournament. The time is yet to be determined.
