PERFECT WEEK EARNS CCAC WOMEN’S TENNIS HONORS FOR NIETO

CHICAGO, Ill. – A perfect 4-0 week during the seven-day period ending April 7 has earned Olivet Nazarene University's Natasha Nieto (Caracas, Venezuela) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors, the league office announced on Thursday.

In the four matches played last week, Nieto yielded just five games, including earning a clean sweep of her two matches on Friday in a 4-3 setback to Indiana University East.  The sophomore won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.

Nieto and Olivet opened the conference season one day later against St. Ambrose University with a 6-1 decision at No. 1 doubles followed by a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles.  Nieto's teammate in each of the two doubles match was Chieh Yu Chen.

The win on Saturday was ONU's first of the season against four setbacks.
