No. 24 ONU WOMEN PLACE RUNNER-UP AT CCAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

VALPARAISO, Ind. – Four members of the No. 24 Olivet Nazarene University women's cross country team earned all-conference honors to lead the team to a runner-up finish at the CCAC Championships competed at Sunset Hills Park on Saturday.

Freshman Hannah Haag led the way for the Tigers with a top-five finish, crossing the line at 23:09 to earn fourth place. Eleanor Fournier came in sixth place with a time of 23:20. Making a return to the lineup, Catherine White earned a top-10 finish, coming in ninth in 23:42. Bella Hoffer earned the all-conference recognition in 13th place at 24:04.

Elise Champlin rounded out the scoring for ONU, finishing 17th with a time of 24:31.88. Lauren Smith (24:39) and Kathryn Swanson (24:54) were 18th and 21st, respectively.

ONU finished with 49 points to net the runner-up finish at the CCAC Championships. No. 9 St. Francis (Ill.) took the team crown with 19 points.
