ONU CROSS COUNTRY LANDS A DOZEN ON NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE HONOR ROLL

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's cross country teams were recognized for their performances in the classroom as 12 total athletes (seven women, five men) were named 2023-24 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the league office announced Thursday.

Amelia Murray, Catherine White, Eleanor Fournier, Elise Champlin, Heidi Heldt, Kathryn Swanson, and Lauren Smith were NAIA Scholar-Athletes on the women's team. On the men's side, Brett Hulliberger, Erik Richter, Joey Puccillo, Payton Domagalski, and Peyton Hobson each earned the honor.

In order to qualify for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Click HERE for the full women's list and HERE for the full men's list.

The ONU cross country teams will be competing in the NAIA National Championship Meet Friday, Nov. 17, in Vancouver, Wash. The women's 6k will run at 10:30 a.m. PST with the men's 8k to follow at 11:30 a.m. PST.
