LAMB NAMED MSFA MIDWEST LEAGUE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. –  Blake Lamb was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon. 

Lamb had a huge day for the Tigers, bringing down five receptions for 111 yards and three touchdowns. The junior tight end hauled in scoring grabs of 23, 27, and 38 yards. All three of his touchdowns came in the second quarter, with the final two coming on back-to-back drives that put ONU up 35-7 late in the first half. The Tigers would cruise to a 58-14 victory over Judson in their MSFA league-opener.

Through five games this season, Lamb has 12 receptions for 306 yards and six touchdowns. This is his first MSFA Offensive Player of the Week accord of his career.
