JOHNSON EARNS SECOND MSFA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

BOURBONNAIS, Ill.Graham Johnson was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season after helping the Olivet Nazarene University football team roll past St. Ambrose 47-7 Saturday afternoon.

Johnson, a local product out of Bourbonnais, Ill., sank a pair of field goals in the blowout win. The sophomore kicker was also a 5-for-6 on extra points in helping the Tigers take down the Fighting Bees.

He was responsible for 11 of ONU's 47 points Saturday, giving the Tigers the lead on a 39-yard field goal to make it 10-7 in the first quarter. A few drives later, Johnson extended the lead with a 38-yard boot.

The award marks the second Special Teams Player of the Week of the Week accolade for Johnson, earning it on Sept. 25, and the third for ONU on the season.
